We have competed in the NVSL since 1993. From undefeated in Division 7 in 2013, to Division 5 in 2014, and up to Division 4 in 2015 and 2016, Division 6 for 2017, and back to Division 7 for 2018 and now in Division 8 for 2019. OHSTC Dive Team is a team looking to expand in numbers and to rise in the 2019 season. We look forward to seeing our 2018 divers back for the 2019 season. The NVSL Dive League offers meets for all ages and all ability levels.
Orange Hunt Swim Club hopes to add to our current group of divers by offering other swim clubs in the Springfield area that have NVSL swim teams but no dive team the opportunity to try dive with the Sharks. OHSC will offer a special “dive only” membership category for any family with divers that wish to dive with the Sharks. These forms are available on the forms page of our web site under dive.
We are offering a FREE meet and greet and “try dive” with our dive coaches on Wednesday and Thursday, May 29 and 30 from 5-6:30PM. We welcome divers from other northern Virginia swim clubs to join us at our “try dive” event.
Our beautiful dive boards were new in 2016 and we have a new low dive stand for 2019! Our coaches know how to teach our kids sound fundamental technique and skills, proper physical and mental preparation, and competitive strategy. Our goal is to provide our children with a unique path forward to developing and getting the most out of their personal athletic abilities and have lots of fun!
